Rony Lec been engaged in seed saving and farming for over 20 years, with a focus on advancing organic seeds and food security in Guatemala. He co-founded the Mesoamerican Permaculture Institute, a seed bank, and a successful amaranth promotion program to support these efforts.

Myriam Legault has been growing food for 15 years in various climates. Along with Rony, she ran the Mesoamerican Permaculture Insitute in Guatemala, with a focus on sharing knowledge and skills with people from all over the world.
